16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
12“Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
13and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster.
14 Who knows whether he will not turn and relent,
and leave a blessing behind him,
a grain offering and a drink offering
for the Lord your God?
4But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,5even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
